The Noize Machine was an alias that I’m kinda have in my mind after digging into a 43GB of Lapfox / Halley Lab collections(FLAC). I’m kinda rediscovering the music, remind me that EDM must be more than a 4 bars and 128 BPM house tracks, or riddim.
Here some fun fact for you if you’re not into VR. As you know that, I work at VR club such as Vibenight and Waterwolf. And yet, even they’re a furry VRClub. Not a single person or DJ know about Lapfox / Halley Lab. It was shocking to me that there are a lot of good banger in that “record label” / project, especially the Halley Lab era that Emma really put out something original and more diverse in genre than the Lapfox era that full of speedcore remix.
Once in your lifetime you might come across penis music meme, or the Rainbow Tylenol ytpmv, or The Big Black osu map. Those are come from the same person.
But with that not a single DJ play their song (well, DRAC-0 kinda play TQBF - Wonderlust, that’s the last time I heard.) So with this, I aim to fix that.
From my last set. I’m kinda tired of house and techno. Like really on the 4 beats 130-160 bpm for the entire set. Too boring for me. I need more unlistenable drum and noise.
And for you nerds, The TV scene was setup and rendered in blender. Spend like 2 hours to render that out with the most p e r f e c t quality as much as possible. Other scene was filmed in VRChat, Check out the map here.
